Terms of Service

EEvento is an event discovery and ticketing platform operated by Kanpix (“Kanpix”, “we”, “us”), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. These Terms apply to the EEvento website, mobile app and related services (together, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, buying a ticket or hosting an event, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

EEvento is a marketplace. Events are organised by independent organizers (“Organizers”), not by Kanpix. The Organizer is responsible for the event itself: the venue, schedule, line-up, safety, permissions and licences, and for what happens at the event.

We provide the technology to list events, sell tickets, take payments, issue QR tickets and check people in. We verify every Organizer before they can publish, but we do not guarantee the quality or outcome of any event.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate details. Your phone number and email are used to deliver tickets and important updates.
• Keep your password and one-time codes (OTPs) private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Records we must keep by law (for example tax invoices) are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include any taxes the Organizer charges. A platform fee, if applicable, is shown separately before you pay.
• Seats are held for a limited time during checkout. If payment is not completed in time, the hold is released.
• A ticket is confirmed only when payment succeeds (or, for direct UPI payments, when the Organizer confirms receipt). You will get your QR ticket in the app, by email and by SMS/WhatsApp where available.
• Each QR ticket admits one person, once. Do not share or copy it. Duplicate scans are rejected at the gate.
• Organizers may set an age limit, ID requirement or entry rules. Entry can be refused if you do not meet them; this is not a reason for a refund unless the Organizer's policy says so.
• Reselling tickets for profit, or buying tickets with automated tools, is not allowed. Such tickets may be cancelled without refund.

Online payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We never see or store your full card or bank details.

Some Organizers accept direct UPI payments to their own account. In that case you pay the Organizer directly, and the Organizer confirms your booking. Keep your UPI reference number until your ticket is confirmed.

Coupons, welcome offers and referral rewards are subject to the conditions shown with them, such as validity dates, minimum order value, first-booking-only use, per-person limits and eligible cities or categories. Only one coupon applies per order, and coupons have no cash value.

Refer & earn rewards are personal, single-use and expire after the period shown. A referral counts only if the new member enters the code before their first booking and that booking is paid and meets the minimum shown. We may withhold or cancel rewards obtained through fake accounts, self-referrals or other misuse, and we may change or end these programmes at any time without affecting rewards already issued.

When a coupon funded by EEvento is used on an Organizer's event, the Organizer receives the discounted price from the buyer and EEvento reimburses the discount to the Organizer.

Each event shows its refund policy before you buy. Refunds, event cancellations and changes are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Organizer accounts are created by the EEvento team after verification. As an Organizer you agree that:

• Event details (date, venue, price, line-up, age limits) are accurate and kept up to date. Material changes must be communicated to ticket holders through the Platform.
• You hold all licences, permissions and rights needed to run the event and to use any names, images or music you publish.
• You honour the refund policy you set, and refund ticket holders in full if you cancel the event.
• For direct UPI payments, you confirm or reject payments promptly and send refunds you owe from your own account.
• You use attendee data only to run your event and communicate about it, in line with applicable data-protection law. You will not sell it or use it for spam.
• You pay the platform fee shown in your dashboard, if any, and are responsible for your own taxes (including GST where applicable).

We may suspend an Organizer, take down an event or withhold payouts if we reasonably believe an event is fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful or in breach of these Terms, or if there are repeated complaints.

Do not use the Platform to:

• list fake, misleading or illegal events, or ask attendees to pay outside the Platform in a misleading way;
• harass anyone, or post hateful, obscene or infringing content;
• interfere with the Platform's security, scrape it, or access accounts that are not yours.

You can report an event from its page. We review every report.

The EEvento name, logo, design and software belong to Kanpix. Organizers keep ownership of the content they upload and give us a licence to display it to promote their events on the Platform and on social media.

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Kanpix is not liable for the conduct of Organizers or attendees, for what happens at an event, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid to EEvento for that booking.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Valid tickets you already bought are not affected unless they were obtained in breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a claim where you live.

Questions or complaints: use the Help & support page or email our support team. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 48 hours and resolves them within 15 days, as required by the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
